Announcement
We are no longer accepting pages into our system that are not in the English language. One of the long-standing Terms states that all members must be able to read and understand English, so this should not be a problem. Any pages that were already in the system before December 2007 may remain in rotation unless they violate some other portion of the Terms. Once a foreign language page has been removed or suspended it can not be re-admitted.
Recent Downtime


On Saturday, May 31st at 5:55pm EDT an electrical transformer shorted creating an explosion and fire that knocked down three walls surrounding our electrical equipment room. Thankfully, no one was injured and no customer servers were damaged or lost.

It has taken this long to get the servers back up. Up to 3000 servers located on the first floor will take 2 to 7 more days to get back up. Luckily Storm Surf Traffic was on a second Floor server.

The outage affected over 1 million websites on 9000 servers.

There was nothing anyone could do. We continue to experience problems with sending and receiving email due to changes in DNS and MX designations.

Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Awards
Did you know you can view the Daily, Weekly, and Monthly prize winners on our Prize Awards page? The link is availble in the top menu on your member page - "Awards Page". The results for each daily drawing are usually posted sometime between 11:45pm and 12:15am each day. The weekly winner is usually psoted at some time on Saturday (time varies) but always before the Saturday Daily winners are posted.
New Surfing Contest!
There will be a surfing contest on June 15th. The contest will begin at 00:01 on June 15th and end at 23:59 (or 11:59pm) Eastern Daylight Savings time the same day. We will be offering Pro Upgrades, Credits, Banner Impressions, and referrals as prizes. There will be NO OTHER ANNOUNCEMENT of this contest. Members who do not read the newsletter will not know about it. Further, you must send a Contact message to Admin if you believe you may have won a prize. Why?
We are doing this to be able to determine which of you is reading the newsletter. Those members who do not send the Contact message will not win. You will have up to 12 hours (noon Eastern) to send the message. After that we will begin awarding prizes. You may only surf 1000 pages but, if none of the top surfers send the Contact message, YOU could still win a top (even FIRST) prize! We expect to award 10 prizes but, if we receive less than 10 messages fewer prizes will be awarded. If only ONE person sends in the message to claim their prize then that one person will win ALL THE PRIZES!!!!
